don't be so hard on your dearly loved land rover.
I own an original 110 and a new 110 and previously a Discovery so sadly that makes me a land rover tragic!

You seem to come here for sport rather than conversation so I don't know where you fit in this argument about what you call things.

Do you actually own one or the other or both or is that not relevant and is yours a rambling opinion?

    Whats in a number

    Perhaps then;
    shorty medium and long
or small regular and large or is this getting to close to a latte order.

Whilst the 90 is now a hundred is was once an 86 and an 83.
So perhaps it is starting to suffer from middle age spread.

or perhaps its just a descriptor rather than a definition.
I think its nice they have hung onto a bit of old language.

But for me she'll always be a ninety and often a shorty, I know what I mean and what it means to me.

    cheers

could LR have marketed the 663 without misconceptions of its wheelbase?
A 90 has never been 90 inches, it was 93 inches.
A 130 has never been 130 inches, it was 127 inches.

So Land Rover are just continuing a naming system they stuffed up 40 years ago.

Defender 93 or Defender 127 really doesn’t roll off the tongue does it? Stuff up? No, just sensible.

I don't know where you fit in this argument about what you call things

ummmm right alongside you.....or if you feel its an argument , opposite.

I haven't been inclined to purchase another LR since my D2 of an 8yrs affair and that's relevant. It was like upkeeping a high priced whore and most subscribers would understand.

this is me.....I'll sing for you too.
