Thread: The Lady in the Land Rover! A tale of rejection.

Today I set off up the hill and alerted that posh lady who in her somewhat condescending tone usually responds to my requests. Today she refused to acknowledge my presence let alone tune to ABC Jazz!

So the wake up call "hey SMEG" resulted in silence! Pressing the voice key on the steering wheel got from her "no speech recognised". Bugger I thought....the Defender will need to be booked in for a complete over haul and my YouTube channel will need to be updated with "my Defender has broken down again and I'm stranded on the Canning Stock Route with Andrew whats-his-name" and it will be monetised by Toyota trolls piling on.

Alas no!

After a brief lie-down she's back (Vehicle double locked and left for 20 minutes). We kissed and made up! (not with Andrew I hasten to add)

That same posh, slightly condescending lady oftentimes tells me in a polite way to use my android auto instead.
