    Driver's side footwell illumination

I'd appreciate some feedback on the operation of the ambient lighting of the driver's side footwell.

Currently, the footwell lighting including that side illuminates when the car is stationary and the doors are opened. With headlights on that side stops illuminating while the passenger side remains on. Occasionally I get a flicker of the LED on that side.

Before digging deeper I need to understand whether this is normal. TIA

    Problem solved

I've solved the problem (of my own making).

I had replaced the existing LEDs with a set of red ones from Powerful UK. Two for the foot-well and two for the rear cargo area. I mixed them up thinking they were identical. The footwell LEDs are dimmable whereas the rear ones aren't. Consequently one of the foot-well lights switched off rather than dimmed.

With judicious swapping problem solved 😊
