There is already a ban by Car Hire companies on tourists driving their hired cars on gravel roads here in Tasmania.

Will the finance companies start putting restrictions on vehicles they supply the funds for, stopping those people taking a vehicle they don't own, into places they are bound to get into trouble with, risking damage to the vehicle and injury to themselves.

these would also be the kind of dickheads that in 6 months time will be whinging that their "new" defender is "unreliable" and will then label all examples of the breed the same.
