Looks like lots of fun. Thanks for recording your experience and posting here. Last time I was there - 1991 in a S111 109 diesel tray ute. Pulled the top of the cab and had 'convertible' for the trip. Then put it back on for the drive back to home (Bris).
Ended up pulling two 'mitzis' out of a the same 'obstacle' lol up north of the island on a slight sandy incline. Daggy old slow noisy 109 S111 who would've thought it could do that....
Good to see the island hasn't been too chopped up by visitors (um, I kinda know that it has cause most of the tracks were burrowed some ten feet down leading away from the ferry landing point for miles when I was there over twenty years ago).
The dingos were cheeky then, but can be dangerous now. Wonder why that is..
Anyways, omg what a beautiful place.
