Been thinking of hashing together an EV Ute for the property
Wouldn’t need to be regoed initially
Have a gumtree search on cheap electric forklifts

Forklift motor is the cheapest way in , you will get a torque monster but no regenerative braking.
Heres an old photo of a DC forklift motor in an 80" with lead acid batteries , Heavy & not much range but great for farm use. (tustve been a big forklift)
The report said it would easily drag off a RangeRover

I suppose the old cross ply tyres would lose traction before the axle breaks.
No breakages in mine yet but I do have Ashcroft rear axles and the power delivery is a lot smoother than before. Even easier on gearbox as I'm in top most of the time. I have been a bit worried about the original front UJ axles though when they start hopping when climbing silly obstacles - just for R&D test purposes of course.
That reminds me, I need to add a panel switch to disable the brake pedal regen microswitch so I can add some hydraulic brake to help the front truetrac to do its thing, without the regen switch killing the power.
