    I'd like to see a in depth video of the restoration. It'd be a handy reference for those of us tinkering with old Rovers

    In particular the chassis repair would be of interest. I find it hard to believe that it could have been done. But I guess $$$ can do wonders.

    I agree, I'm not sure how you weld the holes up between the rust sections and turn it into what seemed to be a very solid chassis. Maybe they replaced the section that attaches to the hanger with the chassis number.

    Yep, they would have had to replace large sections if the pics of it when they got it are anything to go by. When does “restoration “ become replacement?

    I could be wrong, but I don't think the early 80" had the chassis number on the spring hanger!
