    FFR rear seat cushion

I'm in the process of making new seat covers for my FFR. Front seats are at the moment held together with duct tape.

I need to make seat cushions for the single seats at the back because they have been lost.

Could someone post a picture of what the seat base looks like. I have a good idea but it would be better to see the real thing before heading off in another direction.

    G'day Gromit,

Yes this is a reply to your post. The only thing is that I cannot help you because I am in the same boat as you. Sadly, it is a case of you tell me then we will both know. The only thing I have is the empty spots where the bolts must have gone to secure the seats.

Maybe you could have a future side-line going in FFR seat supplies?

    Kind Regards
    Lionel

    Lionel,

I only need the cushions for the seats.

I think it's just a piece of foam covered in cloth backed vinyl.

Probably with a piece sticking out at the back with a couple of eyelets in so it can be tied to the seat frame. Similar to the radio operators seat (I think).

    G'day Colin,

How many seats do you think were in the back of the Series 3 FFR? Is the radio operator's seat different to the seat you took photographs of?

There is no hurry, however could you take some dimensions of the seat frame and send them to me please? That way I can familiarise myself with what they are like so I can keep an eye out for them in the future.

    Kind Regards
    Lionel

    Lionel,

Two single seats at the rear and the operators seat behind the front seats.

There are some pictures on the REMLR site.
