    8th June 2015, 50 years on!

    Fifty years ago tomorrow 112-501 was off loaded from the 'Vung Tau' ferry aka H.M.A.S Sydney in Vung Tau harbour South Vietnam,taken ashore in a US Navy barge then loaded onto USAAF aircraft and flown to Bien Hoa airbase, 112-501 was deployed with the 1st Battalion R.A.R, they were the first Australian troops deployed.

    the Land Rover behind is also a veteran of the conflict in Sth Vietnam, it served with ? Provo corp, anyway cheers Dennis
