Hmm, no
It a mission and a 1/2 to remove the fridge, when I give it a clean later this year I’ll take a pic.
After cleaning they turned it on to test, apparantly the amps either dropped or were going up and down, they thought it might have been sort on gas due to a leak. So they installed a connection only to confirm it was full of gas. Amps settle while cycling on for the next four hours under test.
Didn’t get a pic, will have to wait till the tech pulls it apart…
He is thinking they might have used a piecing valve, think that what he called it……based on the guy in Kununurra telling me the fridge didn’t need any gas. The guy today said you cannot put a proper valve in without dumping the gas.

Yes,thats a Bullet Piercing Valve.
Pierces the copper pipe so the pressure can be tested, using the 1/4 flare port which is capped on the pic.

After hightailing it from Broome to Perth I’ve notice the solar, semi flex panels, working a whole lot better, they seem to be enjoying the cooler weather.

Another learning today…….
We left the defer parked up for 3 and a bit weeks under cover.
I made sure everything was turned off and figured it would still have charge on our return….
Er nope, dead flat, BMS had shut down, battery monitor dead as a door mail.
Sooooo, a quick check of the instruction for waking up the BMS on the battery, out with the jump start pack, it only had 1 bar of charge, connected it up and held the re-start button on the battery for 10 sec, after another 5-10 seconds the battery come to life, quickly started the the engine for the Dc-DC to take over.
Ran the car for 1hr, borrowed some additional solar and combines with my solar continued charging the battery at around 24amps.
Only thing I need to do is sync the battery monitor when the battery is at 100%….although I thought the battery monitor would be displaying some but it’s not……will consult the instructions tomorrow
Next time I think I have a C/B which I’ll switch off or remove tue big arse fuse.
Just spotted the reverse camera display was left on, that’d do it.
Yes, this sync at 100% is a worry..
