    lpg fault

Can anyone advise a good lpg tuner in the newcastle area, reg has started to play games, will run perfect on gas when cold but after 10klms or so looses power like the engine is starving. switch to fuel an it picks up and take off as if nothing has happened. also interested if anyone has rechiped or changed computor to better tune for duel fuel. im looking at graham cooper setup if this appears to be the way to go. chris

When it does this, stop and put your finger on the lpg converter. If it is frosty to touch your water circulation needs fixing. If the converter is hot, then go to the gas tank, feel it and see if it is cold. Some gas tanks lose their pick up pipes internally and deliver only vapour to the engine. This causes pressure loss as you describe as the tank can't deliver vapour fast enough for the engine use.

    lpg fixed?

took reg to sprintgas cardiff friday. the list was big. wrong plugs for car (changed by me after checking what type in motor), two valves/ sensors in lpg circuit not needed (one actually working against system) filter for gas partially blocked. now a different car to drive but we'll see for how long
