Thread: Dud injector

Had a severe miss on gas the other day,, car continued to run fine on PULP,, my local mechanic (also local sprint gas installer) put it on his machine and it said injector 6 was the problem,, a new second hand one was installed, that bank was cleaned and system tuned.

Now I'm not sure but the system would be lucky to be 5 years old and only done maybe 10K and already one injector down,,

what stuffs an injector?

Lucas disease? I have seen a couple of Impco/BRC injectors go open circuit. Just bad luck really.
