    installer short cuts GRRRRRRRR!

    I pulled the plenum top off and suprise suprise, the mob that fitted the sequential gas, ( some on in TAS according to the install plate)
    How sloppy is it, I know the D2 coil pack must be a bugger to reinstall, but /i found it unattached to anything, so it could rattle and bang to it's hearts content against the fire wall. Also found a wire that looks like it needed to find a home at an earth point.
    Pretty sloppy workmanship when you consider the previous owner paid big bucks to get it fitted.

    Yeah but what colour is the loose wire? Is it from the gas harness? There are some surplus wires in the loom used to shield some of the sensor wires.

    I know how evil the bolts at the coil pack are to get back in, maybe this guy has arthritis. It was tons easier on the P38A I did a couple of weeks ago, there's about 1 inch more firewall clearance available.

    green /yellow and had a connector that looks like a screw show hold it to something..

    I actually remove the eng mounbts in the D2 to do the leads/coils. Quicker.

    Best (????) shortcut I've seen involved a D1, a mobile car kit, a well known sydney mass production installer and the airbag circuit.

    Yellow/green wire is probably an OBD2 connection. Not mentioned in the standard install instructions but is in an update sheet. Disregard it as it won't work on Oz spec cars before '04.

    Edit: it may also be a random piece of household earth wire for all I know.

    I don't have gas (unless you ask the wife) and don't have G/Y wire
