Estimated cost is from $1500 to $6000. Bottom end price is for a second hand cheapie job with a tank randomly mounted inside (hold your fingers in your ears in case the engine backfires) and then the top o' the range gas injection with dual gas cylinders and Brown Davis 55L auxiliary petrol tank. Basically you set your budget and find someone to work within it.

    G'day

Was wondering if you can still get the scuba setup for between the rails, my classic has these. My daughter is thinking about buying a classic that has the flat tanks with a false floor over them, raises the floor by about 300, cuts down the amount of junk room, slightly uncomfortable for sleeping.

You bet, dem scooba tanks fit everywhere...

(Hint guys: there's no such thing as "scuba tanks" for LPG. They are called LPG tanks, small, big, skinny, side fill, end fill, etc...)

Tons of "under floor" kits around, try a wrecking yard specialising in LR's. Those tanks are still available from at least 2 manufacturers in Australia.
