    Rebuilt motor and LPG

I've rebuilt my 3.9 V8, and used Hastings Moly rings.

How far do i need to run it on Petrol before I can start using LPG?

    Cheers

As soon as the rings are bedded in. How hard did you drive it after assembly? Check for breather fumes. If they are very low then proceed on LPG. Soft cast rings take 15 minutes to bed in, chrome rings a fair bit longer. Depends on your running in procedure, really.

    Thanks bee utey,

I followed the instructions on the box. Ie. run the cam in, then drive it full throttle - no throttle - full throttle no throttle etc around 10 or so times.

It's done around 800km's now. I will check for breather fumes as suggested though :-)

    Cheers
    Andre
