What is important is that the petrol injector being cut corresponds exactly to that cylinder's LPG injector. The gas ECU doesn't care which order they are wired in so long as all 8 are connected the same. There is no preferred no.1 injector, all are equivalent. The diagrams are recommended to be followed for ease of maintenance by another mechanic.

However, all that happens if the injector plugs are randomly swapped around is that during change-over from petrol to gas it would run rough as the injectors are swapped over 1 cylinder at a time, some would run rich and some lean as they overlap...

As if I don't have enough problems, solve on then another comes along. Today I smell gas leaking.
After the3 soapy water test I could locate the source of the hissing gas.
The Zavoli LPG solenoid Valve is leaking from the bottom.
It looks like it has a screwed on bottom plate ???
I haven't taken it of yet as coolant is too hot.
Maybe there is a seal that's leaking?

Probably a shrunk o-ring. Pic of shut-off? There are a couple of gas locks I've seen go with the Zavoli converter, neither is Zavoli branded, so they are used by other manufacturers. Undo the cover, wait for the gas to stop hissing, size the o-ring and get another one.

You are right again LPG Guru!, The "O'Ring is the problem, and yes not Zavoli, it had a AMR solenoid fitted.
I found the right diameter 'O' in my kit of odds and sorts, but it was thicker, it did compress down ok, unless you need a special 0 rings for gas resistance

Funny, my wholesaler once said "you need special o-rings for LPG" and I said "why did the original one die then?" If in doubt get a green o-ring from an air cond R134A servicing kit. They are very good on LPG.

Some of the AMR valves were a bit dodgy, a spiral return lathe cut inside the filter cover o-ring pocket. If your fatter o-ring works then you're OK, otherwise you need another valve. It may be a warranty claim as its a manufacturing defect. I sent about 4-5 back for leaking.

Not able to claim warranty because system is years old, considering the thickness of the original o ring, why do I need to use one any way, couldn't a film of STAG jointing compound smeared around the o ring seat? do the same thing?
