Dunno about the gas side of things, but alot of landrover people like MR AUTO
My '95 gassed defender's first service in Brisbane is coming up in a couple of thousand clicks, and I want to find a mechanic who knows their way around a gassed diesel. It's not D-gas, as it is injected just after the turbo. If I can find a mechanic who does this and is great with all other areas of a Land Rover, I'll be a happy chappy. I'm looking for someone who I can keep going back to.
Any recommendations?

I send most people direct to MR automotive, do not pass redcliffe, do not waste money elsewhere.

I've booked the car in for a service at the end of the month with MR, but they said they don't do gas work, so I'd like some recommendations for a good gas mechanic near the western suburbs if possible. Gas is one thing I'm not really confident working on myself.
I've just had a problem arise where I can't fill the LPG tank. I've had a bit of a look around the filler and hoses, and nothing looks out of the ordinary to me, though I wouldn't even know what ordinary looks like. I want this fixed pretty quickly, and if possible, I don't want the car out of action for more than a day or a few hours. I reckon it's probably a pretty easy fix, because the problem came on gradually, which tells me that something might have worked its way loose, or something just needs a bit of tinkering with.
I don't think you need anyone special for that job, probably any good LPG-certified mechanic.
Do you know which brand of LPG fumigation system you have installed?

The lpg mechanic I used to use a few years ago was Greg at Mototech at Pickering St Enoggera. Not sure if he still owns the business, but he is very good.
