					Hi all

I have changed my RRC over from a holly to strongburgs

All is great on petrol but on gas it is ticking over great but has a delay before power take up when driving away .

Try and describe as best as poss, but if you put your foot down it has a bit of delay before engine revving up and then takes off fine

Have been checking though everything but starting to give up

I have a omvl tandem vaporizer on the inner wing and pipes to both of the SU's

As said when running along fine but as soon as you stop and then put on the power same delay before the power takes up

Does anyone have any idea of what it come be

 Cheers

 Ali

You had a Holley, now have Strombergs, you don't have SUs. Is there a power adjuster in the hose to each carby mixer? You should have a "Y" piece from only one outlet on the OMVL converter, and a single adjuster in the single hose. Then you can adjust this single point to increase or reduce gas flow. I hope you have all the air cleaner fitted. The OMVL has two adjuster screws which are for idle and off-idle gas flow. These need to be adjusted so you get smooth idle and a steady smooth rise in engine speed as you crack open the throttle. Gas systems like this don't tune themselves.

					Hi

Yeah I do have have new air cleaners and connected

I have all the bits you talk about

I have already adjusted the idle screw but now need to change the other one then . And then play with the three gas flow adjustments on the pipes. This will then tune the gas

Will give that a go and see what happens
