Question Help on fitting an Impco systemt o Disco3.9

Hi all, I have aquired a used LPG system for my '95 Disco, it is an Impco system with scuba tanks, and the engine bay end has the regulator bit and the bit that goes inline withe the airflow. Can one of you lot post a pic of the engine bay layout how it should be so I get it looking right the first time?
Also what plugs do you use and what timing setting is best? ( I will run on gas all the time only use petrol to start.)
    Cheers
    Dave

If you find a qualified LPG fitter you might be eligible to claim a fitting rebate, currently $1250 until 30 June. Used LPG stuff is eligible, I do it all the time.

If you insist on self-fitting, be warned that your insurance will be void if anyone finds out.

Timing should be around 10 degrees BTDC, plug gaps 0.028"/0.7mm, heat range 1 colder than stock, eg Bosch part no. WR7DC+

Thanks Beeutey, I spoke to an installer today and he said I could do as much of the instal as I could to save a bit on the installation, I can do all of the electrical side and the physical mounting of the tanks.

So I am still chasing an engine bay shot so I can lay out as much as possible (mount the evaporator bit etc) to save a bit of coin.

And... he said I claim the rebate back through Medicare! Is that right?
    Cheers

Once your installation is complete and paid for the installer will give you a copy of the claim form which you lodge at Centrelink, Medicare or by post. There's instructions on the form.

Make sure the installer bills you for the complete job, less a "deposit" or "trade-in" so you comply with the conditions of the rebate.
