I have a BRC Sequent Plug and Drive system - fitted very recently. I get 18.5-19 at the moment but it might get better - around town. Manual V8.
Cheers
Your ok mate - no its a sequential LPG injection system made by BRC-Impco. It runs an injector for each cylinder and just copies what the petrol ECU does and adapts it...result. Cant tell its on LPG save for a torque increase at low revs. An in terms of economy its very good and I was told mine will improve over a period of 5,000klm to the point where it is very nearly the same as petrol - ie in my case about 16l/100k for Petrol at least. When it changes from petrol to LPG it does so seamlessly - cannot tell. When the pressure gets too low in the LPG tank it changes to petrol seamlessly.
Cheers
are you sitting down disco2_dan?
same setup as ozscott--
towing a 1800kg van I get 4KPL,, no thats NOT a typo.
I probably have the least powerful 4L ever made (my green one would run rings around this) but this is still amazing,,
If you are going to tow anything large, look for a 4.6 or TD5,, I reckon for 2ton around 400nm,,
The Td5 manuals have the lowest 4th,,
V8 auto's the tallest.

Haha... Just read my BRC manual and I was supposed to run it on petrol as much as possible for the first 1000k...so the LPG computer can learn I suppose... Better change to petrol and run tank and 3/4 or so through her. I bet my LPG l/100k will come down after.
Pedro that sounds like cheap $ per 100k towing... Nice. I've not towed with LPG on the new system yet for any great distance.
On my old system - single point mixer style I was getting about 20l/100k on LPG versus 15-16 petrol in like conditions.
Cheers
Glad u told me to sit down...lol I still nearly fell off my chair hahaha, oh by the way I started a post called Stockton beach, if any of you guys are interested in coming on a club meet up and trip, Stockton beach is mostly closed ATM the guys have informed me but we are working out another location to go, cheers
after seeing the lpg prices in tassie while on holiday there last week, it almost doesn't seem worth converting to gas! 88-90c per liter!
On the new system it is...very very close to petrol L per 100k...so it ends up being cheaper than a TD5 to run, even accepting the best figures posted up on this site for the TD.
Cheers
D1 3.9 manual with a standard draw through mixer sees me get a pretty consistent 20L/100km.
I do have a lift, snorkel and bull bar making it less slick on the wind resistance front. I also run the internal scuba tanks for 50 useable L and preserving full petrol capacity.
