    Timing degress for LPG???

Anyone running Duel fuel. LPG and Petrol/
What have you set your timing to?
Std on the Aus spec Disco 3.9 EFI is 2 deg btdc.
I hear that spark plugs should be gapped differently ans timing advanced.
On LPG joint says advance to 8deg, another says leave std.?

Advance for LPG to 8 maybe even 10. If you run on petrol and it pings you will have to find a compromise between.

Its said thet disco timing marks arnt acurate anyway. You need to do a TDC check to find 0 degrees.

    LPG tune

Advance is important - agree about 8 -10 degrees. Check that the vac advance unit is actually working, too. Often fail....

Plugs - no change to gap, but a different heat range if LPG is preferred fuel. Talk to your local LPG dude.

I checked NGK plug site and they reccomend I range cloder plug and also reccomend regapping 1mm closer on their plugs.
Vacuum advance is fine. Bought a reco not so long ago.
I agree I have heard that Rover TDC marks are not always accurate.
