Thread: software settings? coils

Just wondering what the correct info would be to the sequential gas programming with the software COILS.

The Zavoli software gives a couple of choices either single coil per cyl and 2 coils
The motronic system uses 2 coil packs and has a connectors for 4 cyl per coil.
So in theory it is 1 coil per cylinder, (or 4 cylinders per coil)
If I select this setting 1 coil per cylinder then the RPMs on the software are doubled, eg,. 670RPM becomes say 1340rpms on the software screen.
choosing 2 coils gives correct vehicle RPMS.
I'm still trying to remove some flat spots in the auto configeration set up.
I figure if I don't have the right info edited in the settings then I have lesser chance of it auto configuring correctly

"two coils" actually should read "2 cyl per coil" and is the correct setting. Use the fuel map to correct any areas that need enrichment.
