I forgot I had a new set of gas rings for the twin carbs, and have heard good reports about them so I think I'll use them instead of the dual mixers.
The gas rings are mixers ? I have fitted them to mine and its running like crap, i think my converter needs a new diaphram though. I am considering fitted a 450 4brl holley with sprintgas new gen mixer.

The only problem with a Holly is they are crap off road on petrol, if you are running gas it would be fine and easier to set I would have thought.

They're the twin underneath tanks - still new and unused. I can't remember exactly but I think the date stamp is from '98 or '99. Might be worth me getting them tested before I put them in anyway. Why do you ask?

The tanks need to be tested every 10 years
    from the date stamp

If they were over 10 years old without a retest stamp
    you wouldn't get it passed
