Thread: Disco 2 V8 lpg RPM pickup wire connection?

Hi all, I'm installing a Sequenetial lpg system from a donor vehicle.
Currently the system had it's RPM signal wire connected to a coil wire.

Reading the manufacturers install notes, it says not to install it to the coil.
Where else could I connect it to to receive the RPM signal?

Hi Mario. Just saw this.

I used the tacho drive wire - picked it up behind binnacle - the rhs plug on top of the instruments - afair, it is the slate and white wire on pin 15. Check it because my memory often cheats me! Solder a parallel cable through to the join with the lpg ecu relevant cable.
