RIP Bucko - Riding on Forever
G`day ,
we have had an 85 Range rover on LPG for almost 30yrs .
Initally a 3.5 but the last 20 odd a 4.0 .
I have found NGK to be the most suitable brand as i did with 2 stroke motorcycles for many years .
I have always used the std heat range or one hotter .
I have always gone off the plug colour for heat range .
Most will say to go a range colder but not what i have found and this has always been the tow car when required .
Forgot to mention it is twin carb not EFI but we had a 3.9 EFI LSE for around 10 yrs before it hit a bank on the side of a wet road and its plugs were also std or one hotter .
I don't know anything about spark plugs but I have a unused set of 8 NGK laser platinum premium PFR5G-11. I bought them for a 4 litre but never used them as the disco was wrecked in an accident. Pm me if they are any good for you. John
