Do I need flashlube for LPG rangie?

Or is it overkill? People have mentioned hardened valves (86 RR) etc and not suffering from valve seat recession so does this mean that upper cylinder lubes aren't necessary?

All rover V8's have hardened inserts in the heads as they are alloy, flashlube is not needed and is a waste of money, running petrol on a regular basis is all you need to do - each time you run out of lpg, use petrol for a few k's before switching over to lpg again.

I've done 75,000km on LPG in my 3.5 EFI 1988 RR without any upper cylinder lube. The motor's got 425,000km on it and is still fine.
