    Yes, thanks for that everyone. I think the fire service idea is the best one, and if they don't want it, then the shire. I really didn't want to empty it and have pockets of gas lying around for ages.

    I DID really want to blow it up . . . well, go on, you all know you would too if you had the chance . . . and could get away with it . . . but I guess I'm just getting to be too old and sensible. Damn.

    hook it up to a V8 disco & drive it for 30k's. That will empty it....

    It is MUCH better for the environment to burn it rather than release the unburnt LPG.
