Possibly! Impco makes the same kind of superior claims, so does Gas Research. It is likely much better than a poorly designed venturi!

For example I have here a picture of a mixer type typically fitted to Rover V8's in Australia by "normal" fitters, it has a poor shape and a 38mm bore. On the right is the mixer that I use on 3.9 and 4,6 engines, it has a proper venturi shape and runs a 46mm bore. It works well coupled to an actual LPG processor and is my personal favourite for economy and performance.

Could you explain what you mean by 'LPG processor' - is this a special type of convertor?

I currently have twin mixers on my carbed 4.3 but am considering dropping in an injected 3.9, hence looking at mixer options. Will probably have to change the convertor also due to it having twin vapor outlets.
