First problem, before getting to the servo at Lithgow, the O ring on the oil filter housing split letting a steady stream of corrosion protection coat the chassis rather than protecting the engine. Solved by taking off the filter housing, cleaning it all up and gasket gooing the O ring back in. Replaced the following week when doing an oil change.
Second problem was a uni on the steering column lost a clamping bolt, must have rattled loose along the track, allowing the uni to slide off the shaft going up some rock steps. I had visions of leaving the vehicle up there due to a busted steering box. The two Michaels really fixed that one for me, using a near-enough sized bolt salvaged from someones spare parts collection. Thanks fellas...
On the videos posted, the 110 sounded very tinny, that's the air filter housing end cap rattling, as the captive wing nut is completely stripped. Duct tape holds it all together at the moment. When I bought the vehicle I had to use a shifter to get enough leverage to undo the damned nut.
Of course the second day was fine for me...that was Will's turn![]()
