    Grays 4BD1T engines

    Hi All,
I am excited by frontline offering ex 6x6 4BD1T engines.
Will I have issues fitting in my 1989 4x4 perentie?
Or am I better using the ancillaries to fit to my existing 4BD1?
    Thanks

Before I bought one of these I'd be thinking about the unknown history of the engines that are on sale.

At least your present engine is a known unit. Give KLR a call and find out the cost of adding a new turbo to it.

In any case the turbo fitted to the 6X6 army engines is less than optimal for the 4X4.

Just buy a manifold from isuzu and an aftermarket turbo to suit. Plenty of info in the isuzu section
