Perentie wheels
Hi
Im looking to change the wheels and tyres on recent Perentie purchase for something less aggressive. I was thinking a bridgestone A/T tyre with a set of 18 or 20 rims. Does anyone have any advice on this.
It is mostly on road driving and the 10 ply michelens that came with it are a bit scary in the wet.
Thanks in advance

Welcome to the forum.
It will be interesting to find out if such a wheel size is easily available for the stud spec. I'm wondering if you wouldn't find it simpler and more economic to use disco 1 wheels (wider 16") with a tyre such as you mention?

750 16 tyres are readily available. I have Bridgestones on a Landrover and have been very happy with them.
What are you mainly using your Perentie for? A daily drive? If yes, what Mr 87County has suggested is excellent advice. You can pick these rims up for not a lot and run a tubeless road tyre on them. There is a greater range of tyres available for the wider tubeless D1 rim.

Thanks for help guys
She is normally used around site for various bots probably only doing 100 K a week but this will increase as we get busier.
I was a bit worried that 16" might look a bit small on such a lump but it does sound like they would be easier.
Ill keep looking
