The C&C now in my backyard was ARN 34-587, came from QLD probably one in the batch sold at Eagle Farm in Oct 2011. Needs a little work but generally in good condition

I got the second of the three auctioned. It is built like the proverbial brick outhouse. It sits rather high, but I might investigate moving the axle to above the springs when I dismantle it for refurbishment. It is rather wide for a box trailer - I had to remove the wheels to fit it on the 2.0m wide car trailer.
The previous owner told me that when he bought the trailer from a dealer in Brisbane it was fitted with new brake internals as well as bearings and the original lights were replaced with LEDs to get it registered.
Now I need to get something in the matching colour scheme to tow it with !

Changing the axle location works if you're going to tow it with the family sedan.

Change nothing on it and buy a Perentie 6x6 cargo.

Change the wheels to Perentie or Defender 130 wheels and dump the Disco ones.

If I reverse the axle I will keep its original wheels with the 750/16 tyres.
With the right towbar tongue I should be able to get it to sit level behind my Disco2 which has 2inch lift. Can always change it back to original configuration if a Perentie finds its way into the yard.
