    Trailer canopies.

    Good evening Forum,

    I have just acquired some trailer canopies ex Grays Auctions , they are not for the Haulmark Trailer

    The Code Number is NSN 2540 - 66 - 017 - 0054
    Cover, Fitted, Vehicular Body.

    L 188cm x W 144cm x Height at centre 30cm

    I think they maybe for the No 5 Trailer, brand new with tie downs, plain military canvas colour, not camouflage pattern.

    Can anyone confirm the number for a No5 Canvas canopy.

    Cyril, pretty sure that is for a No.5 by the approximate dimensions and spacing of the rope holes. The earlier ones were just khaki like this one and not camo DP. Has it a reinforcing strip from the front to rear underneath where the bow would contact it. Maybe put up the measurements and someone with a No 5 can confirm whether it will fit. I used to have an ex RAAF no 5 which had a canopy like that.

    Canvas canopies

    Hello Brian,

    Looks like they fit the No5 Army trailers, just checked the measurements on the No5 trailers at Grays Auctions (7/12/18)
