Are you still looking for pics? I saw you had Yarrawonga on your original list. If you haven't any pics of that one, I have a friend there who is handy with a camera and will most certainly provide pictures if you still want them.

G'day Drifter, I don't have Yarrawonga as yet, Thanks. Even additional Photos are great. Some RSLs have added markings and call signs since delivery.

The MVCA has been keeping some good records on them so far and each thread is a way of documenting their after service lives.

If anyone does have diffrent images to what we have already that show some progress of these vehicles please post them up at MVCA.

    Regards Easo

Thankfully it was rescued and excellently restored by local crafts and tradesmen.
Didn't get a photo of it.

I'd love to add images of that ww1 war trophy to another MVCA thread, Military Vehicle Collectors Australia Incorporated • View topic - Country Town War Trophies

Apparently leading into WW2 we had more capture/trophy Maximum guns in the country than Vickers.

local comunity has a maxim gun.as a kid I thought it was a wooden replica.there was others in other small towns.from memory it was one of hundreds.the deal was these must be destroyed if not on display.

recently it had to be sent away and preserved.its now on display with all documents and news cuttings of its presentation in acordance with some regulations recently being policed..the paper work shows 3 mens name from a unit and lists them as responcible for its public presentation.
It was captured in france in an area they operated in by their unit but its listed as having been turkish.
