    Allen, welcome to AULRO.
By your username, I take it your International has had a deisal conversion.
It might be worthwhile asking the question on the REMLR forum as well.

Thanks for your reply mick, the acco still has the 6-283 petrol engine at the moment I have a 6bt cummins and 6 speed Allison auto to go in it when I get it home, I would like to do a service on it before I embark on the long trip home to minimise the risk of a breakdown, I was after oil types for a full service and spare parts eg: belts, filters, brake kits any thing you'd think I would need to take
    Thanks Allen

80w/90 gear oil will work in gearbox, transfercase, step down boxes and diffs.
Normal 20w50 engine oil in the motor.
Check the condition of the points before leaving.
Cooling system hoses, especially the small bypass hose near the water pump.
The brake wheel cylinders specially the rear ones tend to leak with age as will hub oil seals.
Clutch master and slave cylinders have been known to fail out on the road, so check them for leakage too.
They are a simple reliable truck.

Thanks for the info, the oils seem pretty straight forward then I was not sure because I was told I had to run non EP oil in the gearbox and transfer, the parts I have so far are: new spark, points, condenser, B51 belt and one rear axle brake piston kit.
Does anyone know what the other belt size is and where I can buy the extra brake and clutch parts from
    Thanks Allen

When I was in RAEME the army only used a few different oils.
    OEP200...................80w/90 gear oil.........gearboxes
OEP600...................90w 140 gear oil ......diff oil

OEP stands for Oil Extreme Pressure

OMD 110 ........petrol motor engine oil
    OMD 115.........diesel engine oil
    OMD...stands for Oil Mineral Detergent.

You will find the rubber seals for clutch master and slave should be advailible though a PBR brake parts stockist( they will not most likely have a listing)........the truck was Aussie made and parts were locally sourced.

    G'day ACCO 6 x 6 Cummins

We had no problems sourcing brake parts through REPCO for the F1,I. know of an F1 which is fitted with a Perkins 6-354 diesel,(they were a factory fit on the civilian ACCO's) most other parts should be available as well, the hardest things will be cab parts,as these trucks hadverylittleundercoating applied, and were washed down with salt water when leaving and before arriving back in Aust. If you vehicle saw O/seas service.
