Yes a WW2 3/4 ton dodge weapons carrier.
    6 cylinder side valve motor
    Made from 1942 to 1945.
4 speed gear box, driven as a 3 speed with 1st gear as a granny gear for off road work.
Vey good truck and the next most restored American vehicle of WW2 after the Jeep.
    Many are still around.

In WW2 a 6x6 version with two speed transfercase was made.
After the war the civie version was called the powerwagon and many were used by the Snowy Hydro Scheme.
Post war army version called the M37 was produced( rare in Aust) and a FQ15 by Toyota in Japan for local troops.

Canada and the French made extremely close copies of the WW2 weapons carrier.

Just last week or so members of the MJCQ of Brisbane were out on an eight day trip out around the gem fields and Carnarvon Gorge and I am pretty sure that shot is of one of their vehicles. There should have been a Ford ambulance there somewhere too. The bloke with the RAAF slouch hat looks like someone a couple of us know.
Note the sticker on the windshield.
    Regards

Haven't seen one of those for years. Last one I saw was in Toowoomba in the sixties.
