A few more mods done to the Mog/Landy

    Fitted the straight axle adaptors

Made a new mount for the upper links but forgot to give it clearance for the diff housing ops:

Fitted Tamiya high clearance front links and 3racing driveshafts

    Fitted short barrel springs

Got the Landy body etch primed and the rollcage is being welded ready to fit.

I paid $429 for the car and then added another $350 or so for radio gear and batteries etc.

Plus about another $100 in upgrade parts

I got mine from here and they where and I think still are the cheapest

They charged me $11 to send it from Vic and it was here in 3 days.

    I was impressed.

    More done today

Roll cage is done. Soft top is next then paint the cage and body when the weather is better.

The weather turned out pretty good today so I put off making the soft top and painted the body.

It looked good sitting there so I quickly did the windows and went for a drive

    Another video from the weekend

Driven by a 10 year old who did a great job in stopping it going over.

And I also had some fun in the mud

All I need to do now is get some detail shots so I can do the headlights and door handles. Then put some stickers on the body.

So what are you saying, you drive worse than a girl?
At least the battle scars make the rig look tuff.
Maybe you have to work on a full external roll cage to protect the front screen?
