Went hard but wasn't as settled in corners as it's competition.

I had the pleasure of watching Stroudie punt the Britten around Bathurst. The lads struggled to get her handling across the top but there was nothing there on the day that could touch it.
Very fond memories of watching Stroudie come onto mountain straight & wheelie all the way out of sight, awesome stuff.
Regards Chris
I had one of these, great bike, lovely looking bike too.

Baz.
My first bike was CZ 125cc as a hack, it had twin exhaust ports, so it must have been a rather radical/sporty design in it's day.
Then I had several BSA Bantams ranging from the a skinny barrelled 125cc with a ridgid rear end, up to a 175cc Bushman with a rear swing arm.
Then came a Honda Benly 125 cc twin that would rev it's head off.
When I got my license one of my first bikes was a Honda CL350 Street Scrambler, great bike at the time. In more recent years I had a 1978 Honda CX 500 and 1984 BMW R80 GS with a PD 33 litre tank fitted.
Regret selling it and the CL350.
Cheers, Mick

I wouldn't say no to this.:D
What was the superbike with auto transmission? Posh Pommie bloke built it in England (1970s ??), Norton connection IIRC.

By far the nicest production 750 I have ever ridden.

I've got nothing, the only one I could think of was the Hesketh but I don't think he ever did a auto tranny.
To dear, to heavy & to much competition. Sweet looker thou.
Honda did an auto in the late 70's early 80's, it was called the Hondamatic, a 750cc version of the CB750, didn't sell well!
I love the 80's Jap bikes and buy and restore the ones I wanted as a kid growing up in North West England, I always try to take them back to standard and have spents year sourcing parts from all over the World, took three years to find an original screen rubber for one of them!
I'll try and post some pictures but here's the fleet
