Only ever owned one mojobike, bought it as a basketcase off a mate for a bottle of Jim Beam.Did it up and it went well as a 175,it died.I rebuilt the motor with a 250 barrel and piston, went REALY well.Eventually the gearbox siezed.A visitor saw it in the shed and offered $500,wish I still had it.Was the first of the mono shocks.

When we left New Zealand my old man had a Norton Commando in dark blue that i just loved and used to help him clean and polish.Travelling around the bay of plenty area on the back of that beautiful bike is some of my most fond memories. And the sound it made was awesome i could here him coming home from work at least 3 blocks away.

The freedom i felt on the back of that Norton is a feeling i have not felt since, but the cost of bringing it to Australia was way to much for my parents so very sadly it was left behind

I started riding in 1961,bought a 58 Triumph Tiger 100 secondhand that went for a new A10 Road Rocket,it was traded for a Holden (got married),then when I moved to Sydney bought a BMW R60 had that for a few years and a lot of commuting back to Brisbane after mum's first heart attack, sold it and bought a Customline sedan, but bought another BMW 1950 R51/3 in 75 met the wife shortly after that, but I still have the Beemer and it's 1955 mate (matching numbers) and If I sell them my son will kill me
He has also got bikes, a 100th anniversary Harley and a couple of pre-war Panthers, I will get another R60 sooner or later

The Morgan 3 wheeler is very cool, and the big Leyland is quite different.

I did like the Britten V1000.

    Brilliance in form and function.
