Trust me I know, after years of racing bikes, they just don't cut it stock out of the box.
Ridden a Desmosedici yet than Baz? I believe they go and handle quite well out of the box.

I also believe the 1198R isn't too bad either. I also remember a certain Ducati Supermono that seemed to go OK at Bathurst with a certain A Cathcart on it.

I was down at Fraser's 2 weeks ago but there wasn't one on the floor. The Streetfighter was easy on the eye though. My problem is I have to many bikes. I own Duc's, a Suzuki, Yamaha's and a Honda. I'm going to look at buying a Yamaha FJR1300 next week to use on a trip with some mates that's coming up. I just sold my 07 BMW R1200RT and I regret doing it. Might have to buy another Beamer if I cant find the right FJR.

They have a couple at Concord to look at. IF you can get a salesman to come off his ego to come and talk to you . I spoke with the service guys and they were great.

Great touring bikes those mate....a mate of mine bought one of these for a lap of Australia he is doing next month...

    Hey Mick,

The BMW GSA1200... There is nothing more to say... Your mate will have an awesome time on that bike providing he doesn't drop it. My Beamer had the same engine, brakes & gearbox and they're brilliant. I will buy one some day as it would be highly advantageous on our farm at Mudgee.

As for Frasers in Sydney, I'm convinced that everyone there knows everything about nothing and nothing about everything... My dealings weren’t good and neither are the guys I've been riding with. They are notorious for damaging your bike through carelessness when it's in for servicing.

I usually get my mate Pete to carry out the work on my bikes or Trevor from the Motorcycle Mechanics in Helensburgh. Both are great!

Yes Trevor in Helensburgh is very good, nice bloke to talk to as well, I get all my stuff from him, when I get my act together, I will get him to re-wire my 1973 Kawasaki H2 triple
