The 500 in my original post in the end sold not for the $6k that was on offer but for $14,000 - noting it only had 142km on it.

There will always someone willing to pay what they think is fair for any bike or car, I don't see it myself, but then I'm not a fan of the bike in question, and there's really nothing special about the bike, it was just a run of the mill trail bike in the 70s.

    Barrington Tops NP/SF

    Hi All,
Planning a 4 day enduro weekend in a fortnight with a few mates and our bikes.

We were tossing up between Watagans and Barrington Tops (being 4 days we decided we'd go the extra 2hrs up to Barrington)

Does anyone have any recommendations as to:
    some good trails to ride
    best places to camp
    best access route
    etc?

Ill be grabbing a topo map tomorrow to mark out which tracks the NPWS have closed for the winter season,
but any recommendations would be nice! (as with most good riding spots, its all word of mouth info- cant dig up any info on google that isnt a guided tour)

    Cheers, Cameron

Hope that wasn't you on the bike! P38 wasn't doing anything wrong.
Rider was too fast for track - then turned into Rangie - go figure!
Not to mention he turned around & abused Rangie driver, lucky he didn't cope more for his effort. Whereas at least people in Rangie seemed more concerned as to how he was. Must've been nice folk eh!

By the way must confess I'm P38er and raced bikes for while too. In fact now have a WR250F. so unbiased opinion.

    Nah not me,
I think the issue is that the track was 'ment' to be closed and therefore no traffic.
