    Hey Vern,

I have a 2008 KTM 125EXC and just acquired a 2008 Husky TE450. I got back into riding this year after a 7 year layoff due to three broken vertebrae.

I bought the 125 dismantled and rebuilt it after they had shattered the piston (it was run too long), the barrel was damaged so I picked up a NOS SXS barrel and head. I had the suspension done as well. It goes really hard and I use it for tight single track and extreme enduro.

The 450 came up at the right price ($1000) from an old friend and I'm just going right through it and fixing some bodged repairs, worn suspension bearings etc. The suspension is being sorted as well. It will end up costing me another $1500 but should make a nice bike for longer more open rides.

Here is a photo of my 125 from the last big ride I did at Dalmeny on the south coast of NSW.

Would love a smaller bike for singles,, getting the old ktm525 around is a bit tough. Am thinking a ktm300 2 Banger next.
Myself, my wife, and the kids all ride. We suck at it, but still love it.
Would buy yours Cal, for the misses, but just not in the position to at the moment.

Would love to buy it also, I had the KTM 400 EXE. sold it to buy a Yamaha WR250, what a big mistake that was, hated the WR, I sold that for the TTR250, it's OK, very similar to the Honda XRs, but with electric start.
    Cheers Baz.

The 350's are great, I've ridden my mates Husky MY14 a few times and I'm always suprised by how hard it goes.

I used to have a 400 before I got the 525, it was an ex finke desert race bike, used to haul ass, but did a crank bearing so rebuilt it and flogged it off!

Think I will try half a dozen bikes next before I upgrade.

At the moment, the TTR will have to do, this H2 restoration is taking all my spare money and time, I had a choice, new dirt bike, or restore my old H2.
    Cheers Baz.
