Have you considered Wiley-X sunnies?

When I had a detached retina and the lens in my eye was removed, I was aphakic for 6 months. During that time I wore a special contact lens. I found when riding my motorbike, the lens would get pushed to the top of the eye by air pressure (it's a bit of a cow to get it back!).

The optometrist recommended a pair of Wiley-X Jake sunnies that had a foam seal around the edge - that did the trick. Wiley X Australia

removable and air-permeable foam gasket seal (protection from wind, dust and other airborne irritants)

Unfortunately, they are expensive.

Alternatively, what about ski goggles?

These are very good value, unfortunately shipping is $9.90 and they were on special last week for $25.00. Most good goggles are $50 or more these days.

If you find you are still getting a bit of dust through, oil the foam (around the lens not the foam that seals to your face) with baby oil and wash it out when you finish mowing. You could also try olive oil.

Thank you for the link. Not as expensive as my last ditch resort which is a full face respirator with a positive air feed. I used them before when I was in Parks & Gardens spraying pesticides. Unfortunately, they were supplied by the employer and had to stay behind when I left for pastures green!
