    Thanks Ron.

"But I think when my dad passed away, he had 138 of them and that’s a lot of flat tyres and dead batteries, and guess who had to take care of them. I’ve kept some Indians, some Triumphs, some Harleys. I’ve got enough to keep me happy for a few years. "

    Grrrr...

    Great Escape bike jump

I quite amazed at all the knowledge about the bike used,
as I was told by an old friend at the time "Jack Forest" of "forest elbow" fame at Mt Panorama, that the bike that was used was a "HOREX" possibly a Regina model which looks like a Triumph but was quicker.

Anyway I stand to be corrected, but I always respected "Jacks knowledge" as he was the BMW works rider.

    cheers Aston

Thanks for the link Ron, had me laughing for ages.

That bloke obviously never heard of scrambling then, you know pre motor cross when everybody rode stock road bikes and jumped over six feet every sunday. Also if it was that bad and scary, how come he didn't bother with a crash helmet?

    Entertaining yes, hero? Hardly.
