Started life as a street cup, but is a work in progress.
i never thought a road bike with such low figures on paper ( 68hp & 84nm even after Cam, power commander, modified intake, cat delete, vance and hines pipes etc ) could bring so many smiles, it is just a joy to ride.
The last road bike had more than double the horsepower and was about the same amount of fun but this way, I get to keep my licence...... and it looks so pretty and sounds so good, pretty agile in the twisties too.20220923_170534.jpg20221125_113657.jpg20221208_101910.jpg
Seems not too many posting here!. One more for the stable
I was missing the ability to do the occasional off road blast, but love the sweet 900 water cooled Trumpy engine and driveline .... What to do
Did a few mods and really loving it. I must be at the time of life where riding a slow bike fast is more fun than riding the fast bike slow.
Got this a couple months back for a steal,2013 diavel carbon. Just bringing it up to my spec:
Heated grips (yes I know I'm getting soft)
Shock off for service and valve work
New fork cartridges
Full service
Valve clearance and belt adjust.
**** is fast and fun![]()
Bit of a shift since I posted in the forums last.
Went from towing a caravan to track days on the bike.
Maybe I'm Benjamin Button 2.0
Brought the SP1 in 2004, spent 10 years in the parents shed collecting dust and rebuilt it in 2017.
I've now got it on club reg and mainly enjoy doing track days in the slower groups enjoying it in a controlled enviroment, away from animals both native and road users. Plus it's good not having to watch the speedo at the track like you do on the road.
^^ Very nice!
I no longer have a bike. I sold my Yamaha XJR1300 in October. I just wasn't riding any more. I'd done a total of 10km in the previous year.
