    that'll do the trick. I was going to suggest one of the floats may have had a hole in it so it was no longer floating to the surface and shutting the fuel off when the bowl was full, but if its all good I wont

    though how long my soldering job to the butt of a coil will last,,, ??

    now if I could just get it to stop pumping coolant out--

    Out of the rad cap,,
    these things (1988)were built before catch tanks,,,
    yes its a new cap, took a bit of finding to get one that sealed properly.

    Just as long as you know where it is.

    You could make up a catch tank, milk bottle and duct tape should do the trick

    with brumby's, all you need is a 2L milk bottle, IIRC fits just fine down beside the radiator on the passenger side..... lasts about 18 months
