Anyone had any experience working on a cummins k19. Wanted to know if it has individual head per pot or one long one across the 6 pots.
Thanks.![]()

If you've benefited from one or more of my posts please remember, your taxes paid for my skill sets, I'm just trying to make sure you get your monies worth.
If you think you're in front on the deal, pay it forwards.
Got 2 of them and they are individual head per pot.

If you need details or manuals for this engine, post or PM me the 8 digit engine serial number and I should be able to sort something out.
They are a pretty simple engine to work on, and bullet proof too. If they have been well maintained you should easily get 20,000 + hours before the heads need to come off.
If you need parts, don't go to Cummins unless you have a bottomless wallet. There are plenty of aftermarket parts for these, probably with the exception of the PT fuel pump - there aren't many places that can rebuild and calibrate these.
