1984 Mitsubishi Sigma GK Any Good?

Hi guys, I'm about to buy a 1984 Mitsubishi Sigma GK and was wondering if they are any good? I've been told by numerous people that they are lemons. I know it isn't a Land Rover but.. It is lowered, has a ps2, neons etc. etc. I wasn't hoping on keeping it for a while but maybe for a couple of monthes then trade it on for a better car. Do you guys think I should do it?

    sounds fully sick.
    Any subbies?

I had one, check the coolant, if it is anything but coolant colour, ie green orange or red. walk away. head gaskets are sensitive. check for copper colour residue around the radiator cap, dead give away its got bars leaks in it.

    cheers
    Matt

I had one ( stock) as a company car back then. The 2.6 is very thirsty & the 2l needs to be hammered to go reasonably.
I then went to a commodore with the 3.0L Nissan engine. It got about 30% better economy..

    Tell us about the Jag.

But surely you could find a better [sounder - more inherently reliable] car than that Sigma.

The Jag is a 3.6 Straight 6 XJ40 Sovereign. It is in the swap trade section at the moment since I'm looking for a smaller car or was thinking of getting into Off-Roading. The guy said he will give me a $1000 Cash difference but I am after a $1,900 cash difference.
