How are you testing the modules.
Anyone here have any experience with the ignition module of this model, my old mans car has had problems with said unit. Bought a 2nd hand one but now the same problem, seems to work fine when first started and cool but then when is hot it fails, since its an old car i'm expecting dry solder joints as it works fine other wise till hot ?

How are you testing the modules.
I personally havent tested it but the old man has narrowed it down to not supplying any voltage to the + terminal of the coil, now i should say he is no stranger to vehicles having restored vintage/classic cars for over 50 years and is in the auto industry.

We swapped in a borrowed unit this morning and it fired up straight away so we know its defective, luckily he found an auto leccy just down the rd from his job that repairs them, performance igniton also said that they can fit modern internals to the original cast housing if need be.
