The battery light is comming on my FIL 2006 focus.
dose it use the computer to regulate and tell it when to charge or dose it charge directley out of the regulator? are there any fuses or relays in the charge circuit.

I dont have many tools as im at the inlaws and dont have a multimeter

anything thats easy to look at to fault find a bit would be good. apparentley the racv guy told him it was not charging and it drops voltage from 12V car off to around 11V car running.
